Montana is known for its unpredictable weather. Sunshine turns to rain in
a matter of minutes. Afternoon
thunderstorms suddenly become hailstorms.
So, it's August --- think it can't snow? Think again.
Certainly, if your Montana trip is a winter one, you will want to land for a night's layover in a location that can not only provide security for your aircraft but protection from the weather.
At Exec Air, our hangar is a 26,000 square foot, heated facility --- capable of keeping your craft warm for early morning, winter take-off. While we can certainly offer you de-icing service should you choose not to hangar your craft, you might find the cockpit a bit nippy after a mountain night.
